June 29, 1911

     An additional barber's chair of the most up-to-date pattern has been set up in J. Baldock's barber shop and Arthur Lalonde, an experienced "tonsorial artist" who has practised in the U.S. and Canada has been engaged as chief barber.

     No play was possible here last Saturday, owing to the drizzling rain.  We hear that the chances of a game between Old Timers and a team of All Comers being played at Cochrane, are very rosy, and it is hoped that the natural advantages of our ground will so appeal to Major Ross and Mr. F.A. McNaughton when they see it as to clinch the matter.

     The match, Married v Single, which should have been played last week, will take place on Saturday, weather permitting.
