A lodge of Oddfellows has been started in Cochrane, and at the preliminary meeting held on Saturday last W. Andison was chosen secretary pro. tem.

Grand Valley

Found - Early in the year, just outside James Patterson's ranch, a pair of boots with skates attached, about size 11.  May be obtained at the Advocate Office on paying for this advert.

On Friday, the 5th., H. M. Lumsden had a dance at Wolfee, at which the residents turned up in force, and helped to bring about what was a real swell time of dancing, fun and good fellowship.  The cowboy dance in full war paint, given my Mons. Delbeke and Mdme. Langani created much amusement and was worth coming miles to see, once seen never forgotten.

Songs were given at intervals by Messrs. Scott (the comic who never smiles) Hinde, and the host, whilst Messrs. Alderdyce, Edge and Garlin supplied the music.
