The Bow Valley Lodge, I.O.O.F., opened their new hall on Tuesday evening, with a social and dance, and a musical programme made up of selections by Miss M. Lamb, J. Beynon and W. Wright, whilst T. Quigley and R. J. McNamee supplied the music for the dance which was subsequently held.  A splendid time was held, the new hall being found to be admirably adapted for gatherings of this kind, as it is the largest hall in the town.  The Oddfellows are to be congratulated on possessing such a fine meeting place.  Whenever a lodge is started its worth is soon recognized, and we are glad to be able to record continued progress of the local lodge.

(CHAPS note: this hall was located upstairs in the building which now houses "The Heavenly Outhouse".)
