The Polo Club held a very good practice on Saturday last.  Two full teams were out and some keenly contested games were witnessed.  Wait until the pavilion is finished and then Hurlingham will look small fry indeed.

A cyclone of unusual severity passed over the town on Saturday last.  Bobby Butler reports that a building of his under construction god badly twisted, and in the course of his professional duties he discovered many evidences of the force of storm.

There are still a few books belonging to the library that have not been returned.  They must be sent in at once, as they have to be sent back to Toronto.  Those who have been borrowing these books kindly look on their shelves and make sure whether they have a missing book or not.  Books may be left at the Bank or with the Postmaster, or at this office.  This anxiety concerning the lost books is worrying the life out of Librarian Blankstein, the strain is telling on him in a painful degree.
